Studio Mini-Sessions | Temecula Photographer

In an effort to expand my studio portfolio, I'm offering a special for mini-sessions next week!  This is really exciting because I'm growing to LOVE studio lighting and all the versatility of shooting indoors (especially with this early fall heat we're battling in Southern California!).

These mini-sessions are open to families, children, maternity, cake smashes, fall themes, Halloween costumes, etc.  I will customize the shoot to relfect your style and personality.  The possibilities are endless!  Let's share ideas and have some fun!

Call or email today to schedule your session!  We are located in Winchester, CA, just 5 miles east of the 15 freeway.

Take a look at this and check out the rest of the blog for examples of recent studio sessions.  Thanks!

UPDATE:  I forgot to mention that additional prints will be discounted 50% when you schedule one of these sessions.

Baby K | San Diego Newborn Photographer

I was so excited for baby K's session today because I felt like it was a long time in the making.  I met her family back in June for a family session when mom was 6 months pregnant, and then I photographed the baby shower in July.  And finally today I got to meet baby K in all her beauty :)  She is absolutely perfect in every way, but I don't think she was in the mood for pictures (really, what 4 week old is??).  We didn't get as many shots of her sleeping as I would have liked, but because she was wide-eyed most of the time, I did get to capture all the sweet moments of her sharing stared with mom, dad and big brother.  Her family is definitely smitten with this princess, and I think it's obvious in her photos.

Here are a couple of my favorites so far from today's session.

I hope you like them, Adriane!  She really is so sweet.  Congrats :)

One handsome little dude | Temecula Child Photographer

This little guy has been a year old for a few weeks now, but mom and dad brought him over today for his official One Year photos.  Isn't he a perfect doll?  Those eyes are going to get him out of trouble countless times in the future, I'm sure :)  He wasn't the biggest fan of my camera but the camera sure does love his baby blues!

Here's an abnormally large (I had a hard time choosing just a couple!) sneak peek of your handsome guy, Estella and Michael!  Enjoy!

Time for Cheerios!

Rough day at the office.

Isn't he just the cutest little GQ model?  :)

A match made in Winchester | Temecula Wedding Photographer

I've held off on blogging this post for a few days because I just wasn't sure what to say about Nick and Vanessa.  There are lots of cheesey things I could throw out there about "love at first sight" and meeting Mr. Right, Prince Charming, etc.  I could make comments about how quickly life is moving for them and how I'm sure they're loving every second of it. But I won't.  I'll simply say, "Sometimes, you just know."

I introduced Nick to my cousin Vanessa on my birthday of May this year.  I had planned a night out for friends in Temecula and decided I'd set up a pseudo blind date for these two.  I thought they'd have some common interests and hit it off; sure enough, they did just that.  Several weeks later I was shopping for engagement rings with Nick and having girl talk with Vanessa.  Last Friday they became man and wife.  Sometimes, you just know.

They're the most obviously in-love couple I know.  They make each other smile, they make each other laugh and they give one another a reason to dream.  Vanessa has been deserving of a man like Nick for quite some time, and Nick has been waiting for a girl like Vanessa his entire life.  That could just be my opinion, but I'm a romantic.  And sometimes, you just know.

To the Mr. and Mrs., I wish you a life of never ending happiness, constant laughter and a relationship so full of passion that you never have to second guess a single breath or a single moment of your existence.

Here are a few photos from their intimate ceremony.  I'll have the pleasure of dancing night away with Nick and Vanessa at their larger celebration next year.  Thank you for making me a part of your special day(s) :)

Enjoy!

Brown-eyed Beauties | Temecula Child Photographer

Today I got to hang out with the absolute cutest siblings with the most beautiful brown eyes!  Mom said it had been a couple of years since they had their photos taken, and I think they were just fine with that :)  This pair was definitely more interested in playing than they were minding attention to the camera.  That could have been partly my fault.  I brought along some construction paper and crayons so they could draw pictures for dad who is deployed to Afghanistan (again, thank you to our military familes!).  We also had fun tossing my light reflector like a frisbee and finished our session with some paper airplanes.  I think these cuties were great sports all-in-all and they definitely deserved tacos and hamburgers for dinner like mom and grandpa promised :)

I hope you enjoy this sneak peek of what's to come!

p.s. Don't these pictures feel like fall?  I'm so excited for the rich autumn colors!

A little bit country and a whole lot of Sexy! | Murrieta Photographer

When Jen asked me to take her photos so she could send them to her boyfriend in Afghanistan, I was so excited!  As a military spouse myself, I love supporting our troops-- and what better way to do that than sending photos of the beautiful women who keep the home fire burning?  Not to mention I love boudoir sessions and incorporating the outdoors is so much fun.

Jen wanted a country setting for her photos and I decided on a beautiful location.  Unfortunately, a Park Ranger informed me I wasn't allowed to conduct business (commercial photography) on private property-- in this case, an ecological reserve.  Oops!  He let me off with a verbal warning and I won't soon be forgetting the valuable lesson I learned.  The coyote that greeted us upon our arrival and the tarantula that popped out on the trail to see us out further solidified the notion that we were not welcome to take photos in their home.  Noted :)

A special thank you to Amanda Valletta for the amazing make-up.  Contact me for her information if you're looking for a professional artist for your special even or photo shoot.

I hope you enjoy this peek, Jen!  And of course, your boyfriend John is in our thoughts during his deployment.
