Baby A's Christening | San Diego Baby Photographer | Alicia Q. Photography

This past weekend I had the pleasure of photographing the Christening of a beautiful little boy.  Baby "A" was surrounded by family and friends and the love enveloping him was amazing.  I have to admit I had to hold back the tears more than a few times.  I'm such a sucker for celebrations like this.  I'm so happy I could be there to capture these moments for this loving and truly inspiring family.

I can't wait to see what this little man's future has in store for him :)

We're having a sale!  For the month of February only, book a birthday portrait session at a super discount!  I love how excited kids get about their birthdays and now parents can add to the celebration with photos to mark the occassion.

These sessions must take place in February and can be done at my in-home studio in Menifee, your home (within 30 miles of 92584), or an outdoor location of choice.  You can bring as many outfits as you'd like, but do keep in mind these sessions will last between 1 and 2 hours total.  Your session will include either a 16x24 print mounted on thick matboard, or a set of 25 custom birthday announcements.  Additionally, you can take 50% off digital packages and 25% off prints 16x24 and smaller.

I feel like it's been forever since I posted!  As you may have noticed, I ditched the Project 365.  I knew it'd end up this way.  Unfortunately, our move into a new house got the better of me and I couldn't manage the time well enough to make room for photography every day.  Shame on me.

But I am here to share some shots of my little man from today.  These were taken with natural light in our new living room.  The lighting is so amazing.  I can't believe it took me 10 days to realize this!  I also used my barnwood flooring as a backdrop for the first time, which worked out nicely.  Overall, I'm very excited about my little experiment today.  And how adorable is my baby boy?  He's growing way too quickly!  The only upside to this is that he seems to get cuter and cuter every day :)

p.s. These photos have not been color corrected.  The light in my living room is that awesome!

Boudoir Marathon | San Diego Boudoir Photographer | Alicia Q. Photography

Wow, what a weekend!  Our boudoir marathon was such an amazing experience.  I had so much fun photographing these beautiful women and hope they love their photos.  I'll admit, my shoulders were a little sore on Sunday, but it was more than worth it.  I can't wait until our next marathon!

I'm posting this a day late, but I assure you the photo was taken yesterday :)

Atticus loves climbing on the sofa, chairs, tables, anything really.  I caught him on a dining room chair yesterday, which just so happened to be sitting in front of my backdrop stand!  He must've known it was time for a photo.

Today I let Atticus have at it with a bowl of Multi Grain Cheerios.  I love these photos, although he wouldn't look at me very often, and when he did, he gave me his "Really?  More pictures, mom?" look.  Poor kid.  I torture him with this camera.  But that's why I let him get "messy" today and have fun with our little photo shoot.

Oh.  And if you're wondering about the soy milk-- Atticus has a milk allergy and has been on soy since about 8 weeks old.  He loves the stuff :)
